I lift my eyes toward the mountains,
For my help comes from the mighty hills.
My help comes from the Lord,
Who rules over heaven, earth, and all creation.

The Guardian of Israel never sleeps or grows drowsy.
The Lord is my Shepherd and my Protector;
Because He watches over me,
I have nothing to fear or worry about.

He takes away my fear of the enemy
And watches over me at every moment.
He continually leads me
Along the good and righteous paths.

In heavenly Zion, the hosts of heaven
Sing and rejoice in God's presence.
Whenever I meditate upon that blessed place,
My heart fills with joy.
