1. Shreeyeshu naayakan jeevane thannavan
   Snehichu ezhayaamenne
   Aa mahal snehathin aazhamalanneedaan
   Aaraalum saadhyamathaamo?
    
2. Paap-andhakaarathil aandu kidannu njaan
   Paaram valanjoru naalil
   Chaarathanjennil aaswaasam
   Nalikiyoreshuvin divyamaam sneham-
    
3. Thanthiru chankile rakthathaalen paapa
   Pankalellaam kazhuki
   Shathruvaam enneyum ithramel snehichu
   Mithramaay theerthathan sneham-
    
4. Njaanini than paada sevanam cheythennum
   Ee maruvaasam thudarum
   Melil vihaayassil thaan varum naalathil
   Thannodanju njaan vaazhum- 

Meaning:

1
The Lord Jesus gave His life for me,
He loved me, though I was so unworthy.
Can anyone ever measure the depth
Of that wonderful, immeasurable love?

When I was lost in the darkness of sin,
Struggling and suffering helplessly,
He came near to me and gave me comfort—
That was the divine love of Jesus.

With the blood that flowed from His wounded side,
He washed away all my sins.
Though I was once His enemy,
He loved me so deeply and made me His friend.

From now on, I will serve Him
Throughout my earthly journey.
And when He comes again in glory,
I will be with Him and live with Him forever.
