Meaning:
1.
Oh, how wonderful is the greatness of our Lord Jesus!
How beautiful and glorious He is!
His majesty is so great
that no one can fully describe it.
2.
A life untouched by sin,
an unchanging and everlasting love,
and forgiveness for humanity’s sins—
all these are found in Immanuel alone.
3.
He is more beautiful than anyone
among the thousands and thousands of people.
Among all who live on earth,
He alone is filled with incomparable sweetness.
4.
Every earthly leader will eventually fall before death.
But Christ our Lord alone
is both the supreme Leader
and the Conqueror of death.
5.
He alone is worthy to rule over the whole world,
to bring everything under His authority,
and to reign as the one true Sovereign.
