   Thakarunna jeevanil-tharumavan viduthal

   Chukkaan pidikkunnon akhilaandha naadhan

Meaning:

O Lord Jesus, heavenly King!
Your grace is sufficient for us.

When the waves rise around us
in the ocean of this world,
Your grace is sufficient for us.

When the boat of our life
is caught amid the waves,
Your grace is sufficient for us.

Come, little boatmen! Come to Christ.
When life is breaking apart,
He will give you deliverance.
Jesus the King gives life to those who belong to Him,
and with Him there is endless joy
that nothing else can equal.

When the boat is tossed about
in the roaring depths,
the Lord of the whole universe—the One who created the sea—
holds the helm and guides the boat.
When He leads us through the raging sea,
there is little reason to fear the waves.
