I have an eternal home in heaven,
a home in the heavenly land,
a home that the Lord Himself is preparing for me.

There is no sin there,
and there is no curse at all.
God’s people will carry everlasting joy upon their heads.

There is neither night nor day as we know it there;
there is not even the slightest darkness.
The Sun of Righteousness will fill everything with light,
and that light will be our perfect joy.

There will be no division there,
no party spirit or separation.
We will live together as children of one Father,
united in that blessed home.

There will be no quarrels,
and there will be no strikes or disputes.
There will be no rich or poor among humanity;
we will all be united as one body.

There will be no tears there,
and death will never come again.
We will live together forever
in the loving presence of Jesus.
