To take away the curse and give us life,
Our Savior Jesus, upon the cross of Calvary,
Endured terrible suffering and pain
And willingly faced death.
Let us remember what He suffered for us.

1.
He bore upon Himself the entire punishment
For our terrible sins.
He offered Himself once and for all as the perfect sacrifice,
So that He might grant salvation to everyone.

O Lord Jesus!
With joy in my soul, I come and fall at Your feet.
My heart overflows with gratitude,
And in deep love and thankfulness,
I shed tears before You.

3.
Your precious blood became the price of my redemption;
You purchased me with Your blood.
Neither gold nor silver is sufficient
To give human beings true and eternal life;
Your blood alone is the priceless ransom.

4.
As my Great High Priest,
You intercede for me every day.
As my beloved Lord, You will soon come again,
And I too shall join You in heaven.
