           Shaalomiye! varikente priye!
           Chelezhum swarloka sundariye!
           Maalozhikkum ninte premarasam vazhi-
           Njaalapippikkunnen chundukale mama-

  1. Thaathanaho thanikkullavare lokaril ninnu pirichidunnu
    Aakayaal thannude vaachamanusari-
    Chaayavaril ninnu vegam akannu nee-
     
  2. Devakalodulla sakhyamichhi-chaanokku vittu than snehithare
    Dyovilekkaayavan pokunnathin munpu
    Daiva-pumaanenna saakshyam labhichithu-
     
  3. Noha muthalaaya saathwikanmaa-rekamaay ninnu poruthathinaal
    Lokamavarkkingu yogyamaay vannathillaaykilum
    Divya sambath-avarkkundathaal-
     
  4. Maathaa, pithaa, nilam, bandhu-janam,
    Sodaree, sodarar, bhaarya, makka
    l Aadukal, maadukal-aadiyaam swathodu
    Jeevanum kaivedinjaadal koodaathe nee-
     
  5. Maalika veedukal, gopurangal, melamezhunna devaalayangal
    Collegukalodu universityu-
    Methume nokkaathe poriken naayike!-
     
  6. Bankukal, chittikal, companikal, theenku-cheyyum-kali, shodathikal
    Jimneshyamodada naadaka-shaalakal
    Enniva-yorthu nee thaamasichidolla-
     
  7. Veshavisheshangal-aabharanam jaathikalkkotha duraacharanam
    Dureekarikka nee swodara-puranam
    Saadhichidum kapad-aatmika-dhaaranam-
     
  8. Kannukal-moham, jadathin-moham, jeevanathinte prathaapamiva
    Onnum pithaavil-ninnallithu lokathil
    Ninnu thanne-yivayellaam-ozhinjupom-
     
  9. Vaame! lebaanone vittudane kshemamaay porika naattilekke
    Premamulloramaa naamukalum, sheneer
    Hermmon-mudikalum vittu-varika nee-
     
  10. Loka vailaari theernnidumbol murin malamel njaan vishramippaan
    Simha guhakalum pullippulikalin
    Parvvathavum vittu porika nee shubhe!-
     
  11. Divyamaayulla manavaraye daivam namukkaay orukkumaye!
    Dyovil labhikkumee vaasasthalathu naam
    Mevum-anavadhi modamod ennume-
     
  12. Kettiyadachulla thottameyen mudrayittulla jalaashayame
    Vattidaathulla nin prema-vellangalil
    Muttum layichu ramippen sadaapi njaan- 

Meaning:

O Shulammite, come, my beloved,
lovely one, O heavenly beauty!
The sweetness of your love overflows,
making my lips sing with joy.

The Father separates those who belong to Him
from the ways of this world.
Therefore, according to His Word,
quickly turn away from worldly ways and people.

Do not seek friendship with worldly idols;
leave them and turn to the Lord.
Before Enoch was taken to Heaven,
he was recognised as a man of God.

The righteous ones, from Noah onward,
stood firm and fought the good fight as one.
Though this world was not worthy of them,
they possessed the riches of heaven.

Put away all worldly fashions, outward ornments,
hypocritical spirituality for the sake filling the belly
and the sinful practices of the gentiles
Remove and abandon every form of these things.

Leave behind your mother and father, land and relatives,
brothers and sisters, wife and children,
sheep, cattle, possessions,
and even your own life, without regret.

The desires of the eyes, the desires of the flesh,
and the pride of life—
none of these come from the Father.
They belong to this world,
and all of them will eventually pass away.

Come, beloved! Leave Lebanon behind
and return safely to your true homeland.
Leave behind the worldly places of pleasure and beauty—
Amana, Senir, and the peaks of Hermon.

When the heat of this world is finally over,
come to rest with me upon the mountain.
Leave behind the lions' dens
and the mountains inhabited by leopards,
and come, beautiful one!

God is preparing a divine bridal chamber for us.
We will receive this heavenly dwelling place
And will live there forever
in abundant and everlasting joy.
 
10
You are a garden enclosed,
a sealed fountain of living water.
In your unfailing streams of love,
may I continually be immersed
and delight forever.
