At this early hour,
As I come into Your holy presence,
Grant me grace, O Lord Jesus,
To praise You with all my heart.

Throughout the night,
You graciously kept Your servant safe.
O Worthy One,
To Your holy name belong
Endless praise and glory.

Lord, many people may have
Faced death during this night.
I thank You for the grace
By which You protected me
And kept me safe.

At this very hour,
Many people are sighing and weeping.
But I thank You for the grace
That has filled my heart
With joy and gladness.

While I lay upon my bed,
You kept Satan from coming near me.
You graciously placed Your angels
Around me as a guard.
For this grace, I give You thanks.

You gave me peaceful rest
And stood beside me in Your grace.
You faithfully watched over me
Through the night without sleeping.
To You belongs all glory.

As the dawn rises
And the earth shines with its light,
O Lord, by Your grace
Let Your light also shine
Within my heart.
