The Holy Bible alone is truly excellent,
It is the witness that reveals Christ.
It is the bread of eternal life, my nourishment,
And I count every argument against it as worthless.

It is supreme in heaven and on earth,
A drink sweeter than honey,
A gift from God more precious than gold;
There is no other book on earth comparable to it.

It is unfathomably deep for those who ponder it,
Yet it gives divine understanding even to the simple.
It is a lamp that gives light along the path,
And a living flower of life for those who earnestly seek it.

It is a word that brings comfort in times of sorrow;
How great the blessing when it is continually honored.
There is no reason to doubt it at all;
Blessed are those who accept it and obey it.

It is a sword of grace with which to overcome the enemy,
And a true standard for those who honor the truth.
Let everyone study it continually;
Through its truth, we will see that Christ the Lord is the true way.
