Meaning:

On the path of truth, carrying the banner of love,
Let us, as a community of witnesses, move forward.

Victorious followers of Jesus, our one Lord,
Put on the strength of the one Spirit.
Be holy; be strong;
Fight against the fierce enemy.

2.
We must put on the full armor of the Spirit.
We must take up the shield of faith.
Let truth be our belt,
Righteousness our breastplate,
And salvation our helmet.
Let us be fully prepared.

3.
We have evil to confront,
But we must overcome it by doing good.
Let us fight against sin
And stand firmly against it,
Even at the cost of our lives.

4.
To stand against the enemy and gain the victory,
And to build up our spiritual strength,
We must fast and pray.
Let us remain watchful without ceasing,
Giving thanks to God continually.
