Meaning:

I will store up my treasures in heaven;
I will live according to this calling.
The Lord continually says to me:
“I will guide you with My own eyes.”

When many trials come my way,
And those who were supposed to protect me run away,
May this voice reach my ears:
“I will guide you with My own eyes.”

When all your earthly hopes and desires
Have entered the grave with the passing of time,
This promise will still give you courage:
“I will guide you with My own eyes.”

Your treasure will not be stolen by thieves,
Nor destroyed by rust or moths.
When you see it in heavenly glory,
