1. Ammaye pole thaathan thaalolichidunnu
   Samaadhaanamaay kidannurangaan thante
   Maarvvil dinam daanamaayi.
    
2. Kashtangaleridilum enikkettamadutha thunayaayi
   Khora vairiyin naduvil avan mesha
   Namukkorukkumallo.

Meaning:

Praise, praise, o my soul,
praise the one who is above all praise, our Lord.
Remember the goodness He shows you every day
and sing forever, o my soul. (2)

Like a mother, the Father holds me close
And gently cares for me.
Day after day, He lets me rest peacefully
In the shelter of His arms.

2.
Even when my troubles increase,
He remains my closest and greatest help.
Even in the presence of my fiercest enemies,
He prepares a table for us.
