In the wilderness of this difficult life,
Will you become discouraged, my friend?

The One who has overcome every danger and disaster
Will come near and comfort you.

On this journey through the wilderness,
Don't you have a good Shepherd to lean on?
He will provide everything you need.
So do not grow weary;
Keep moving forward on your journey.

My friend, there are many who may try
To whisper clever schemes and strategies to you.
Even if you have to shed your own blood,
Do not depend on the supports and securities of this world.

Even when you have to drink bitter water,
Continue to walk according to His commands.
He will never hand you over to the enemy;
He will protect you until you reach
Your heavenly home.
