Let us praise the Lord,
And never forget His grace—

Though we were sinners, deeply troubled and afraid,
Worrying about what the future would bring,
At the very moment when we were in such a state,
The Lord came seeking us.
Let us praise Him every day.

2.
He brought us out of the terrible path of darkness
Into His incomparable light.
He regarded us as a holy people
So that we might proclaim
The glory and excellence of His character.

3.
He freed us from our lowly and sinful condition
And made us a royal priesthood.
He considered us worthy
To offer spiritual sacrifices before Him.
Oh, what an amazing grace!
