Is there life after death?

Although this is an uninteresting thought, everyone knows that death is inevitable.

But what is death?

The dictionary defines it as “the permanent end of all life functions in an organism”.

Animals die, and so do humans.

Are humans just animals?

Science says that humans are super animals.

Do you agree that humans are just animals?

No, your inner self says you are much more than that.

But who is this inner self?

It is the soul.

What is a soul?

The dictionary defines it as “the immaterial part of a person; the seat of human personality; an entity that survives the body after death”.

But where will it go after death?

Neither the dictionary nor science has anything to say about that.

The Bible says, “What good will it for a man if he gains the whole world, yet loses his soul? What can a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Matthew 16:26)

Can we regain our soul?

Yes, but not after death. Do it now, while you're still alive.

The Bible teaches that there is life after death: eternal life. This life is not on this earth, but in Heaven, where the eternal God dwells in glory. However, man, in his sinful nature, cannot enter this glory. Therefore, God sent his own son, Jesus Christ, to take on the sins of humanity.

“For God so loved the world that He gave his only Son Jesus Christ, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

Christ died on the cross, bearing the sins of the world. All you have to do is accept that you are a sinner and that Jesus Christ died for your sins. Ask him for forgiveness. If you do this, God will forgive your sins and your soul will be saved for eternity.
